District De-Addiction Center
Kiran Foundation, registered under the Indian Society Act 1860 (MH/58/2014), operates a District De-Addiction Center in Cortalim, South Goa, with headquarters in Chandrapur, Maharashtra since 2014. Supported by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India, the organization works on a “No Loss No Profit” basis to uplift underprivileged communities. Through comprehensive de-addiction, rehabilitation, and community development programs, Kiran Foundation serves drug addicts, alcoholics, and substance abusers across South Goa district, having successfully rehabilitated approximately 450 inmates in 2024-2025 through qualified professional staff and integrated support services.
To provide accessible, quality de-addiction and rehabilitation services to substance abusers while empowering marginalized communities through awareness, education, counseling, and comprehensive support programs that address physical, psychological, social, and economic rehabilitation needs across South Goa and beyond.
To create a substance-free society where every individual, regardless of economic or educational background, has access to comprehensive rehabilitation services and opportunities for holistic development, enabling them to lead dignified, productive, and prosperous lives.
- Provide preventive and rehabilitative services for drug addicts, alcoholics, and substance abusers
- Conduct awareness and sensitization campaigns in schools, colleges, and communities
- Deliver professional counseling, treatment, and therapy services through qualified staff
- Establish outreach programs to identify and support addicts at the field level
- Facilitate physical, social, psychological, and economic rehabilitation of inmates
- Create sustainable vocational and occupational training opportunities for recovering addicts
- Build strong networks with stakeholders for effective service delivery
- Support marginalized families through Self-Help Groups and community programs
- Organize health camps including Ayurvedic and Homeopathic services
- Expand services to reach unreached populations in rural and underserved areas
